About EcoMarketing Group

company

EcoMarketing Group is a consultancy with expertise in research, strategic design and marketing communications. We have a strong interest in environmental sustainability, particularly as it applies to energy and water conservation, and efficiency. Our focus has been developing programs that influence pro environmental behaviour change at both the community level and within organisations.

Through our work we continue to build relationships with some of the most recognised national and global brands including RMIT University, IESEG International School of Management, Sustainability Victoria, Yarra Valley Water, WaterAid and the savewater® Alliance among others. Over recent years EcoMarketing Group's experience has led to broadened academic links with universities in both Australia and Europe, with invitations to develop environmentally based marketing courses.

EcoMarketing aims to make a significant long-term contribution to expediting environmentally sustainable outcomes for communities across Australia. This will be achieved through sharing a deep understanding of how individuals and communities can better manage the environments they influence.

Managing Director: David Fitzgerald

David's industry experiences spans over 20 years, initially working in the service sector with both national and international hotels where he has held key management positions in both a marketing as well operational capacity. These days, through EcoMarketing Group, David provides strategic advice to a range of industries including professional service firms, government and utilities sectors.

David is completing his PhD (Marketing) and is employed by RMIT University on a sessional basis. He represents RMIT internationally as a Services Marketing lecturer for the Hong Kong Management Association, Marketing Principles lecturer for the Singapore Institute of Management, and created the Environmental Marketing course for IESEG University's international management program in France and RMIT's post-graduate/Masters program.

Annamarie Teslik

Annamarie Teslik shares the responsibility for strategy, communications and research for many of our key accounts. She has worked extensively overseas in the service and technology sectors where she has developed strong administrative, research and marketing skills in a professional capacity over the past few years.

Ian Allan

Ian Allan was a computing professional in the banking sector before he became a geographer. In the 1990s he combined these skills and now specialises in the application of Geographical Information System modelling to strategic planning issues. Ian's research interests are diverse, and include utility asset failure prediction, environmental planning and conflict resolution, housing policy and the restoration of mapping archives. Ian also holds an honorary position in the School of Geography and Environmental Science at Monash University and is principal consultant for Geocode, a firm specialising in spatial modelling.

Dr Raju Mulye

Dr Raju Mulye is the program manager in the postgraduate marketing program at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia. He has a MBA in marketing from Simon Fraser University, Canada and a PhD from Monash University, Australia. His research interests lie in the areas of decision analysis and social dilemmas, in which he has written several papers in journals and conference proceedings.
